Our Character, Adventure, Leadership, Learning program is valued because it contributes significantly to the life preparation of students and liberates the skills, talents and capacities of our students. Our School is committed to the development of the servant leadership model that builds on the Christian ethos of the School.
2017 - Lulu Piperone was announced as Commonwealth Games Batonbearer
In October it was announced that talented sportsperson and Year 9 student Lulu Piperone will be a Commonwealth Games Batonbearer in 2018.

2017 - Outdoor Education Week
Kindergarten through to Year 12 again participated in Outdoor Education Week this year.
Each cohort participated in a number of activities around character building, teamwork and leadership.



2017 - Skate Park Dreams
Mackay Regional Council was successful in attracting funding of $1 million under the Building Better Regions Fund for their Mackay Skate Park & Wheeled Sports Plaza Project.
This all came to pass due to the efforts of Year 8 students, Flynn Bushell and Ethan Laval who dreamed of a quality skate park in their city, and they approached politicians at all levels to make it happen.
2017 - Sports Awards
Almost 150 sports awards were given out this year to students this year. Special mentions go to the students that represented Australia in their chosen sport - Jarrod Jones (Sailing), Flynn Bushell (Karate), Luciano Leonforte (Futsal), Andrew Bekkeli (Futsal) and Jake Otto (Futsal).

Award for Artistic Endeavor - Saffron Jones and Mark Armstrong
The Arts "All-Rounder" - Olivia Laval
Award for Creativity and Craftsmanship - Lainey Christensen
The Head of Arts' Award for Artistic Excellence - Peyton Crofton
Miss Crofton has also already been accepted into the University of Queensland Music Program.

2017 - Musical Mania Cabaret
This year's Musical Mania Cabaret provided two nights of exciting entertainment with students over a vast number of year levels getting involved.
